Resignations Hit Hanover College Administration
Hanover College announces the resignations of Dean of Women Miss Laura Norris after seven and a half years to pursue doctoral studies at the University of Illinois and a return to college life. Dr. Margaret Nolte will replace Norris, arrive mid December, and work with Norris through term end. Economics Chairman Dr. Arthur Porter also resigns to become Dean of Heidelberg College in Tiffin Ohio, reflecting on a 19 year tenure and an interest in arbitration and labor economics.

Proving Grounds Tests Ammunition in Madison Area
The 60,000 acre Proving Grounds near Madison handles acceptance testing for Army ammunition, with payroll rising from 5 million to 7 million next year.
