The National YWCA convention closed its annual session in Indianapolis after April 19. G A Blackwood, a sophomore, won the four mile cross country run in 25 minutes 15 seconds. Fred Millis and Arthur Iddings finished second and third. A V Averitt led the Academy in 26 minutes 2 seconds. Seven entries competed over a rough course. trophies from Hanover merchants spurred the event.
