The Hanover College Glee Club gave its twenty eighth concert, praised for snap and life, with Winslow as a standout. Gilbert and Allison also received high marks for their numbers. the quartet impressed with Rosary and Margarita. continued on fourth page.
The Sophomore Class elected the Revonah staff for next year at Tuesday’s meeting. J. Speed Rogers was named editor-in-chief with Lawrence H. Capelhart as assistant editor. Gayle Hufford is business manager, Elm er Cravens assistant. Committee chairs include Kehoe athletic Reiley humor Bach calendar Balser literary Swann art Montgomery advertising.
The April College Bulletin presents the official roster of trustees faculty officers and students for the current year, plus a history contrast of college and university admission requirements courses and expenses as well as descriptions of buildings organizations prizes and year records.
The Summer Quarter will begin June 13 for twelve weeks mainly for teachers and graduates aiming to teach. It has two six week terms, run by the regular faculty. Hanover, with its river view and shade, offers a pleasant setting for summer study at moderate expenses.
The Pan-Hellenic committee led by Paul Dowell of Sigma Chi and R P Kehoe of Phi Delta Theta has completed arrangements for tomorrow’s informal inter-fraternity function in Assembly Hall. Clinton Moffett of Phi Gamma Delta and Sam Reiley of Beta Theta Pi join the organizers. A number of out-of-town guests are expected and the affair promises to be a brilliant success.

Dr Wiley praises Hanover as a model small college noting personal teacher contact opportunities, strong moral tone, favorable finances, and wide educational value. He credits his own Hanover upbringing as a pivotal gift and calls it unmatched for the money spent in educating youth.

Superintendent Samuel G. Boyd of the Madison Light and Railway Co led a Hanover meeting with citizens President Millis faculty and fraternities to assess bringing electricity from Madison to Hanover College Hill about five miles. If enough patrons are found the project may proceed with campus arc light and Dormitory light proposed though reception was mixed among students. The committee pursues the plan with strong backing from college people and hopes local businessmen back the extension.
Beta Theta Pi hosted an annual dance at the chapter hall with artistic decorations and special music. An orchestra from Louisville performed while Elmer Cravens displayed crayon artwork. Light refreshments followed as out of town guests from Madison and nearby towns attended with professors and their spouses serving as chaperones.
The seniors ask the faculty to abandon the tradition of having several class speakers at commencement day exercises. The move seeks to streamline the ceremony and place emphasis on a single speaker or program.
