Hanover College adds military training to athletics plan
Hanover College will finish its baseball and track season this spring while offering a military training course linked to athletics. Major Wolfert of Madison will oversee drills with Coach Rider, including marching and tactics lectures. Citizens of Hanover and students from the College will raise a new sixty foot flagpole yesterday afternoon at the Hanover Deposit Bank corner. Portrait of Dr Garritt by Indiana artist finished
Mr. Steele of Indianapolis has completed an elaborate portrait of Dr. Garritt. The work hangs on the north wall near Donnell chapel, with other Steele portraits in the Library and Chapel. The project began through Rev Geo Sehlbrede of New York City and was funded by subscriptions from students and Indiana polis organizer John Holliday.
