Prairies Agree On Common Grain Policy
WINNIPEG The three prairie governments agreed to a formal presentation policy to federal minister Otto Lang and urged delaying Bill C 244 the Grain Stabilization Act until Saskatchewan and Alberta APIs views are obtained. They formed a three man technical committee to adapt the Manitoba net income stabilization plan and support a two price system for wheat.

One-man commission to probe Brandon discrimination claims
Attorney General A H MacKling names James Toal as sole commissioner under the Manitoba Evidence Act to examine racial discrimination and police harassment in Brandon and Cornwallis. U C W Meet at Oak River September Session
