Licence Renewals Mailed In Manitoba Snowmobile Registry
The Manitoba Highways Minister announced renewal applications are being mailed to about 45 000 snowmobile owners for a three year licence from October 1 to September 30 1979. The 30 dollar fee covers the licence. insurance is not mandatory though optional.

Hamiota Bowling Club winds up season with Strathclair meet
On September 15 the Hamiota Bowling Club hosted Strathclair with six lanes and two games followed by lunch and a social. On September 17 the wind up tournament used four lanes for two games, a Pot Luck Supper on the grounds with 35 members, a brief meeting, and thanks from the President for a good summer of bowling.

On August 28 at 8 00 p m Ken and Freda Kerr were surprised by family and friends celebrating their twenty fifth anniversary. Allan presented twenty five roses and children gave a console coffee table. A three tier cake and buffet supper followed with a social hour and gifts.
