Birdtail River Division Board Meeting Minutes 1986
The Birdtail River School Division No. 38 held a regular meeting on September 11 1986 at 8 00 p m at Crandall Division Office. Trustees present listed with absentees and apologies. The board approved living allowances for transportation the opening of Birtle Elementary School relocation of a hut at Strathclair Gymnasium and use of Room 225 as a television studio with no cost to the division. They hired multiple support staff for 1986 87 and approved several travel and payment items including Ed Penner Construction Ltd and June July 1986 financials. The transportation supervisor was authorized to attend a bus drivers instructors seminar and the collective agreement with CUPE local 3037 was approved for Feb 1 1986 to Jan 31 1987. The superintendent was authorized to attend a regional conference and the meeting adjourned to September 25 1986.
