Mr and Mrs Bill Everitt returned from Rolley Minnesota after attending the Threshers Reunion. Obituaries and funeral for Dave Wyborn were held in Hamiota with Rachel Hakes as cousin. Newdale Horticultural Society met nine members with a successful flower show. Plans made for a pot luck supper on Oct 6 at United Church lower hall. Mrs M Esplin returned from weekend visits and attended the Aubin-Perrow wedding at St Adolphe.

Family visit spans long years across towns
Mike and Sue Wheaton and son Garry of Summerset England met Bruce and Margaret Brewer and their boys in August. Thursday afternoon Marion Paterson Lola Currah and Olive Newton visited Clarence and Reva Martin of Strathclair with Clarence's sister Sophir Haw's of Victoria BC who was visiting. A reunion note mentions not seeing Sybil for 40 years and the joy of meeting her again.
