Summer Recreation Wraps Up Busy Manitoba Season
The month of August closed a season of slow pitch playoffs at Kenton Ball Park with Kenton 2 taking first place, Lenore 2 and 1 earning notable finishes, and Oak River over Cardale. Westman Games powered swimming and running events at Hamiota with winners from Shoal Lake Winnipeg and Brandon, plus a ski tournament at Shoal Lake. The report thanks organizers Colleen Little and Bruce Lyons and notes this was the author’s final summer recreation column.
