Crandall special meeting minutes Birdtail River Board 1980

Special meeting of Birdtail River School Division No. 38 held August 21 1980 at 7 00 p m in Crandall division office. Attending trustees and staff approved agenda July 10 1980 minutes and accepted tenders for roof work at Birtle Collegiate Shoal Lake School. Granted maternity leave and bus driver appointments, approved van routes and altered driver pay. Administrative staff authorized to hire extra garage help. superintendent report received. adjourned to September 11 1980.

Rolling River board projects enrolment and staff shifts for 1980-81

The Rolling River School Division plans for 2,530 students at the start of 1980-81 on September 2, down from 2,620 in 1979. Teaching staff will drop from 141 to 135.7. There will be eleven elementary schools and four collegiates. New hires include Mrs. Barbara Angus at Hillside and several others across Sandy Lake Elton Rivers and Minnedosa. Several staff resignations and internal transfers are noted plus two leaves of absence.
