Volleyball tournament tops Hamiota weekend activities
In Hamiota seven teams competed in a day long volleyball tournament with top finishes by Hamiota on the A side Carberry on the B side and Hamiota number two on the C side. Organizers plan more district events and invite new groups to participate. A Craft Market is set for November 4 at Miniota with table space available and sign up for a craft club. Courses in jean making needle crafts pottery and more target beginners and will be offered in Miniota. Referee training clinics national level are scheduled in Min nedosa Virden Killarney Swan River and Foxwarren from October 28 to November 25. A ladies curling clinic is in planning for November with contact needed soon.
