Thanksgiving Christenings and Community News in Oak River District
Two christenings marked Thanksgiving Sunday at the Oak River church as Justin Kyle and Robin Jolene were welcomed. Local events featured former Oak Riverites, choir numbers, and extended visits from Thompson, Winnipeg, and Wasagaming. Community notices celebrate a 60th anniversary, sympathy for Violet McCallum’s death, club meetings for seniors, and a native crafts display hosted by Mrs. Mary McBurney.
