Hamiota's Al Robertson Named Coach of the Year
Al Robertson of Hamiota was named Coach of the Year by the Canadian Federation of Amateur Baseball at the FCAB awards banquet in Halifax on September 27. A long time baseball figure, he played in the 1967 Pan Am Games, joined Canada’s 1971 national team, managed provincial champions, led Manitoba to a Canada Games silver in St John, and serves as Manitoba Baseball Association president and Hamiota Red Sox manager.
