Miniota Municipal Council Meets In October 14 1980 Session
The Miniota council met October 14 1980 at the Municipal Office with Reeve V N Lockhart presiding and all members present. They adopted minutes from September meetings, reviewed extensive correspondence on local and regional matters, approved financial arrangements including a debenture payment and fund transfers, debated land sale to the Village of Hamiota for a street to serve senior housing, supported Pacific Western Airlines service to Brandon and region, approved Talking Book Program costs for CNIB residents, set cheque totals for September, and arranged for furnace quotations and wiring for a building. The meeting adjourned to October 28 1980 at 9 00 a.m.
