Westman Regional Winter Games seek rural Manitoba bids

Grant funds aid western Canada livestock show Agribition
Agriculture Minister Jim Downey announced a 5500 grant to the Canadian Western Agribition. Now in its 11th year, Agribition has grown into western Canada’s largest livestock show and will run November 28 to December 4, 1981 in Regina as a joint provincial effort supported by Manitoba.

Clocks Revert To Standard Time In Manitoba
Manitoba clocks fall back one hour at 3 a.m. on Sunday October 25 under the Official Time Act of 1967, returning to standard time across the province for a six month period from the last Sunday in April. Clocks are set back to 2 a.m. after the change.
