McConnell Baseball Team Reunites for 40s and 50s Members
McConnell reunion for 1940s and 1950s players and families held at the Community Centre on October 8. Activities included catching with gloves, horseshoes, a Roast n Toast, hot beef supper by Jamieson’s Catering, prize winners Harold Pollock and others, and a visit by Cardale Maroons with pictures and a video recap planned.

4-H Fall Projects Expanded for Youth and Families

A C W Meet MINICTA Plans Christmas Tea and Bazaar
October ACW meeting in the church basement had seven members and one visitor. Lynne Cornish led the Thankoffering service. Don na Gardham announced the next Little Helpers party for November 8 after school. Christmas Tea and Bazaar set for November 19 at 3:00 in the Miniota Community Centre. Non-perishable goods collected for Pane House Ministries in Brandon through October 18. Next meeting is December 1 at 6:30.
