Cargill Opens Oakner High Throughput Elevator
Cargill unveils a high throughput elevator at Oakner on October 10 with a three member staff led by manager Dave Martinussen, and announces future fertilizer and merchandise plans. The facility features a 3200 tonne capacity, rapid unload via 60 foot platform, twin legs with 200 tonnes per hour each, three loading spouts, automated bulk weigher, Rotoclone dust control, and a 1250 person daylong barbecue. Oakner replaces Pope location as part of a western expansion.
