Decker Country Riders Grow With Ten New Members
Decker Country Riders increased to 28 members after adding ten new names. The reorganizational meeting on October 2 at Decker arena elected Leanne Gregory as President and other officers, with events planned through October including a fun day, horse ride, and wiener roast weather permitting.

Council Hamiota meeting approves maps and drainage study
The September 11 regular meeting of the R.M. of Hamiota council ordered 100 coloured maps. FPR Consulting will prepare a report on drainage into and out of the slough six miles north of Hamiota. The council also agreed to buy a new radio for a grader and discussed upgrading the village water treatment plant.
