The Cardale U C W group met in the church basement on Monday October 3 with 17 in attendance. Edith Kerr and Joyce Espey led the business portion and planned a fowl supper for November 7 and a Christmas Concert for December 16. The devotional, led by Kerr, Radcciffe, and Westbrook, centered on Life and Death. Rev R Lynas of Hamiota spoke on terminal illness. Lunch hostesses were Espey and Longstaff. visitors included Rev and Mrs Cambrise of Strathclair.
