Spirit of Mrs Lois Freeman Wilson and Canadian grit
A reminiscence on spirit as a driving force, recounting how diminutive yet fearless figures like Rt. Rev. Lois Freeman Wilson, Mary Ann Parker, and Pauline Miller embody perseverance. The piece links civic courage, community effort, and Terry Fox’s national inspiration to the idea that spirit makes ordinary people extraordinary.
