Winnipeg Attorney General Roland Penner urges motorists to take part in a voluntary night time driving survey conducted in October. The study, run with the Manitoba Department of Highways and Transportation, Manitoba Public Insurance Corporation and Transport Canada, will run 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. four nights a week. Participants answer questions, provide a breath sample, and learn their blood alcohol concentration. Drivers who are impaired will be advised to use alternate transport. Police supervise traffic but the survey is not enforcement.
