Quadruplets and family growth in Carberry district
A Carberry farming family welcomed four additions on August 17 at Winnipeg's Health Sciences Centre. The quadruplets, born by caesarean section to Heather and Ed Lavich, weigh as little as 3 lbs 2 oz and remain in neonatal and then intermediate care, with home arrival unlikely before late October. The parents run farming duties while Heather works for CIBC in Neepawa.
