Hamiota Trade Fair plans and pool project updates
The Hamiota 6th Annual Trade Fair will be held at the Hamiota and District Sports Complex on Friday Oct 11 organized by volunteers and the sports complex. The kitchen committee works on lunch and supper while volunteers handle door prizes admissions setup and takedown. Plans include upcoming Bedknobs and Broomsticks screenings and a public meeting if a Manitoba Sport Facility Fund grant succeeds for rebuilding the Hamiota Swimming Pool. Funds from raffle exceed $1 200 and will support the major pool project with ongoing surveys on upgrading and closure options.
