Lawn Bowling Tournament Held in Hamiota
On September 25 the Lawn Bowlers hosted a local tournament starting at 2:00 pm using three lanes. About thirty members enjoyed a picnic supper after two games, then a third game in the evening. Winners were Gladys Baxter first Bert Knight second Archie Black third and a tie for fourth between Dot Pangman and Bert Decker.
