Winnipeg firm to expand Westeel grain bin line with funding
Western Diversification funds of 1.257 million plus 230 thousand from Winnipeg Core Area Initiative and 79 thousand in tax relief support Westeel Division of Jannock Steel Fabricating. The plan invests 2.26 million to produce 60 75 and 90 foot Wide-corr bins for corn and soybeans, boosting exports and jobs in Manitoba. The 90 foot bin holds up to 415000 bushels and aims to offset rising U S imports.
