Surprise 40th Anniversary Party At Wyborn Home
A November 2 surprise party honored Mr. and Mrs. Dave Wyborn on their 40th wedding anniversary at Mrs. Nankivell’s home in Hamiota. Friends attended at 8 p.m. with a love seat moment, corsage, and boutonniere, then a ruby candle centerpiece cake and a pole lamp gift were presented. The couple thanked guests before a luncheon and social visit.

W I Club Holds Annual Meeting and Plans Christmas Events
The W I group met at Mrs. Bruce Paterson’s home on November 16 with seven members. Mary Thompson chaired and Officers for year elected include Inza Pollock president and Mary Thompson vice president. Members planned December Christmas boxes for seniors, a December 14 Christmas party with $1 gifts and pot luck lunch, and a macrame plant hanger lesson.
