Band Committee Hamiota Holds November Meeting
The Hamiota School Band gathered November 1 at Hamiota Collegiate with eighteen present. President Mrs Val Doupe reported $101 from Hamiota and $81 from Crandall district in the battle drive. Discussion covered spring festival participation, progress reports, and pins or alternatives. pins were approved. It was proposed calling parents about extra lessons. meetings set for the first Thursday monthly.

Senior Citizens Report Hamiota Meeting and Activities
The Senior Citizens group in Hamiota held its first meeting on Wednesday November 10. Ten tables of cards were played, with forty two paid members and some new joiners. Members were welcomed from town and nearby areas. A short meeting preceded carnations gifted for belated summer birthdays, donated by Mac Campbell. A lunch was served by hostesses. Bingo is held monthly along with other entertainment.

A UCW general meeting at 2 p.m. November 10 in Chumah Hall saw 21 members present. Mrs. Paul Robinson opened with Remembrance Day thoughts. Unit 5 members led worship. Reports covered stewardship, Thrift Sale success, catering plans, budget proposal for 1977, and nominating committee slate. Next meeting is the January Annual Meeting with Unit 6 in charge.

W M C Meet in Neepawa Hosts Western Rally
Two Hamiota ladies attended the Women's Missionary Council Rally at Calvary Chapel Neepawa on October 28 with about sixty attendees from Carberry Brandon Virden Rivers and Neepawa. Guest speakers from Winnipeg spoke on faith and missions, and reports highlighted Zambia Kenya and Missionettes activities.
