Foresters Celebrate 83rd Year in Hamiota
In Hamiota on November 5 1976 over 70 members and guests of Court Hamiota Canadian Foresters marked 83 years in the town with a turkey supper at the Community Centre. Glenn Paterson and Mrs Paterson of Pilot Mound brought greetings. John Gunson was honored with a 75 year jewel button as he nears 75 years in the order. The group visited R L Stevenson at Hamiota Hospital and sent meals to absent sick members and widows. Whist and tea cake and ice cream followed the supper and prize winners were announced for ladies and gents events.
