A carload of Copeland's of St Marys apples arrives featuring varieties such as Spy Bald Win Kings Greenings and Ben Davis with the well known quality of Copeland's remarked by shoppers and merchants.
County Court scheduled there on December drd. Flour Mill offers 5c above market price for all milling wheat grades. Hamiota Flour Mills exchanges flour for any wheat grade. J H Houck to ship hogs from Hamiota Crandell on Monday November 25. Winter apples arriving at P Heddesheimer's in all varieties.
Remember the Cana dian Club meeting next Friday evening. Admission free. It was evident from the fire bell for the Chinaman's fire that some people do not know how to ring the alarm. The rope hangs on the south side of the tower outside and the alarm sounds by short jerks. Last Saturday was very busy in town with a large farmers crowd and strong grain market activity boosting business across all lines.
The Harding Agricultural Society will hold its annual meeting at the Agricultural Hall in Harding on Monday September 9, 1907 at one o’clock p.m. A. P. Jasper, Secretary.
Hereces-In Homiota announces the birth of twins to Mrs H Hepburn on Monday November 18 1907. the children are a pair of daughters.

A letter to Mrs. Chambers thanks Hamiota women for collecting funds for Brandon hospital. The society cannot designate a dedicated ward. funds go to building projects and hospital needs. They note linen, bedding, seamstress support, and kitchen construction funded from donations, urging continued generosity.
The Knox Church anniversary was celebrated last Sunday and Monday with two sermons by Rev Mr Hall of Neepawa. A fowl supper in the basement drew 200 or more attendees and a musical program followed with a lecture Make a Man of Him by Mr Hall. The event raised about $120 for the ladies.
A stove pipe fire at the King Edward restaurant near noon Friday spread to the ceiling and roof but neighbors quickly extinguished it with small chemicals. A small roof hole remained. strong winds and dense wooden buildings nearby could have worsened the blaze.
Nominations for Reeve and Councillors of Hamiota Municipality occur in the Orange Hall Hamiota on Tuesday December 10 for Mayor Council and trustees of the Village of Hamiota in the Council Chamber Hamiota also on Tuesday December 10 between 1 and 4 o'clock. Nominations for Reeve and Council of Blankard Municipality take place at Mrs Henrys Sec 6-14-21.
The new fire engine received a trial run last night and the demonstration was not entirely satisfactory given expectations.
