New G T Town to Build a Church
A meeting of the Edeo Congregation met in the School house on the 20th to discuss building a church in Oakver station on the G T P. The vote favored building. A committee was named to select a site visit churches and estimate costs. They surveyed Oakner and chose two sites Broadway at Main and Main at Brown with plans to erect a place of worship next summer.

Orrwold Church Anniversary Services and Benefit Dinner
The Orrwold Church held anniversary services over Sunday and Monday with Rev Mr Murdock of Beulah leading Sunday's worship. A Monday evening supper featured fowl and pastry, followed by a well rendered program that drew strong applause and raised 101 dollars for the church.

A Nov 22 gathering at Mr. and Mrs. Walter Palmer’s home honored Rev. Mr. Murdock and his bride with music, refreshments, and a monetary gift from the congregation. During departure, Mr. Lawrence Stevenson’s breast strap failed, causing a runaway with a broken tongue, though no one was hurt. A fire on Nov 23 at Mrs. Anteliff near Arrow River destroyed a stable, eleven horses, twelve cattle, hogs, poultry, and much equipment, with losses estimated near three thousand dollars. Mr. Seth Thomas Campbell returned home to Humbolt after a visit with his father.
