Oak River Legion Auxiliary Meets Sets Plans for Winter Events
Oak River Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion met November 3 1988. They discussed the annual tea November 11 and a Christmas party with gifts under 5.00 arranged by Roberta Ramsey and wrapped by Meryl Strachan with Dorothy Ramsey. The men's supper is December 2 at 6 30 p.m. They sent a Scholarship Fund donation and three sympathy cards. Peggy Galloway of Gladstone visited and explained Zones, aided by Mrs. McMillan Minnedosa. Next meeting December 1.
