Tossing Manes 4H Club Attends Ice Capades in Brandon
HAMIOTA The Tossing Manes 4H Club utilized reduced rates to attend the Ice Capades in Brandon on November 4. Three cars carried nine members one leader and five parents to enjoy the figure skating show featuring performers including Canada's Karen Magnusson.

Couple Honored On 50th Wedding Anniversary
Charlie and Winona Lee of Crandall celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a Come and Go tea at the Community Centre. Mrs Nora Shier decorated the three tier wedding cake, grandchildren helped with the guest book, and many friends attended, including Gladys Park of Calgary. The Lee family of Gerry Calgary Ralph Steinbach Don Crandall Sylvia Winnipeg and Lorna Eastcott attended, with 13 grandchildren and one great granddaughter Tracy Sheane.

The Birdtail River School Division No. 38 held its inaugural meeting on November 5 1975 at 7 30 p m at the Division Office. Trustees took oath of office and officers Earl A Butcher was re elected Chairman with Gerald Shier re elected Vice Chairman. Women's Institute Meeting at McConnell Home
The WS met November 4 at Mrs. Eileen Paters home with six members and one visitor. They sent a hospital treat to Agnes Poock, donated 10 to the Children's Aid Society, planned December 2 Christmas party, discussed quilt pattern butterfly, and held a monthly raffle won by Mrs. Merv Thorpson.
