The McConnell 4-H Beef Club met October 28 1969 in the McConnell Community room with 27 members, five new members: Clayton Currah Dienna Mathison Irene Thompson Dale McConnell and Wendel McConnell. Services will continue to Christmas with rotating ministers at 7 30 p m. Mrs Foxton attended a Decker church anniversary and fowl supper at Isabella on October 28. Our deepest sympathy to Mr and Mrs Vere Little and family. Seventy Halloween callers visited Friday. Regina visitors Mr and Mrs W Collie spent the weekend with Mrs Collie.

Figure Skaters Hold Meeting at Hamiota Club
A Hamiota Figure Skating Club meeting on October 31, 1969 elected Alma Dixon as president and Bernice Lewis as secretary-treasurer.
