Blanshard council hallmarks hog debate and hotel sale
The Rural Municipality of Blanshard held a Oct. 23 meeting revealing water pumped into the waste site pond and plans to compact the household area. Delegations urged rules on intensive hog barns while council approved selling the former Blanchard Hotel and signing a three year private-lane access deal for $250 annual fee.
