Premium Park selects Hamiota for western head office
Premium Park will establish its western Canada head office in Hamiota with an office complex and a truck wash at a total cost of 800000 dollars. The project will create up to 15 office jobs, five truck wash positions, and 7 transport trucking roles, plus 8-10 new openings at two barn sites under construction nearby. The town will buy 20 acres of land, with four acres to be sold to Premium Park, brokered by the Hamiota Economic Development Corporation. Mayor Al Robertson says the development boosts economic stability, school safety, health and sporting facilities, and local business activity. The grand opening of the first site is tentatively set for December 9.
