Jody Allan promotes the Arthritis Self-Management Program a six week workshop for arthritis patients including osteoarthritis rheumatoid arthritis and other forms. Classes run Mondays in Hamiota Lilac Residence from Nov 10 to Dec 15 led by trained volunteers with contact numbers for Rivers and Hamiota for more information.
The Decker 4 H Country Riders held an Oct 19 reorganizational meeting with 15 attending. New members Sherrie Shmyr Amber Stebeleski Hannah Scott Kirby Ashcroft Shanisse Medd and leaders Cindy Routledge Sharon Medd Chris Stebeleski Arlene Stebeleski were welcomed. Officers elected included Leanne Gregory president Felicity Scott VP April Graham secretary Mandy Taylor treasurer Whitney Graham yearbook and Sharlene Gregory. A Sept 27 28 riding clinic with clinician Pat Kliemola drew 26 riders.

The Westman Blood Donor Clinic opens in the School of Nursing auditorium at Brandon General Hospital. Weekly hours include Tuesday 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. 1:00 to 3:45 p.m. and 5:00 to 7:45 p.m.. Wednesday 8:30 to 11:45 a.m. and 1:00 to 3:45 p.m. Donors are urged to give the Gift of Life by walk in or appointment at 1-888-222-6575 ext. 490.
