Hamiota fundraisers show small returns and weathered turnout
The Hamiota and District Sports Complex hosted an Oct weekend auction at the pool raising about 1000 with a 75 25 split from donated odds and ends. A dance the next night drew a small crowd though the band Saddletramp enjoyed airplay in Brandon and Winnipeg. Organizers note pricing and attendance affect profit and urge balanced expectations.
