Planning scheme discussion at Hamiota village council meeting
Hamiota village council held a special meeting on May 11 to review the proposed Planning Scheme amendment and a potential Variation Order. Municipal Planning Branch official Terry Pierce reviewed the draft, with numerous change recommendations. New draft copies will be prepared for approval and a public meeting may be held before advertising. The council agreed to consider a Variation Order for a local resident seeking an addition that would reduce the front yard to 25 feet.
