Hamiota moves toward industrial park with phased build
Hamiota unveils plans for an 20 acre industrial park between Hwy 21 and the fair grounds along Spruce Ave with a service road 125 ft from the highway. Phase one includes five lots with hydro natural gas water and sewer. phase two adds a rear access road and five back lots. Redfern Farm Services plans relocation to a 2000 sq ft chemical warehouse by December 1994 and a 4000 sq ft office shop later, with relocation possibly by March 1 1995. REDI considers grants to cover road and utility costs.
