Cardale United Church Celebrates 50th Anniversary
Approximately eight Cardale residents gathered Friday April 4 to mark the 50th anniversary of the Cardale United Church with a pot luck supper and a program. Choir selections, poems, a history display, and a toast to the church highlighted the heritage theme Our Heritage.

The MecConnell W I met at Mrs Inza Pollock's home on May 6 with seven members and five visitors. They approved donations unknown but noted profits from a Family Fair and planned a Community Centre clean up on May 14 with help from the community.

Art Show Held by Hamiota Art Club May 3
The Hamiota Art Club opened its May 3 show with 118 works across oil watercolor pastel and more. Mary Coupland opened the event, and Leslie Jameson drew for two watercolors by instructor Ann Perlmutter, won by Mrs. Geraldine Ellis of Foxwarren. 333 visitors signed the guest book and Unit No. 2 of the U C served tea.

Pee Wee Hockey Team Ends 1974-75 Season With Banquet
HAMIOTA announces the Pee Wee Hockey team completed 31 wins and 2 losses before provincial finals. They traveled to Snow Lake March 8 and lost two straight to the host. During Easter break they won the World’s Largest Pee Wee Tournament at Weyburn, defeating four Saskatchewan teams.

Achievement Night Held by HAMIOTA 4H Club
The Hamiota 4H Home Ec Club held an Achievement Night on April 15 1975 with the theme Happiness. Forty two members displayed projects across Clothing Foods Handicrafts Home Design Photography and Woodworking. Awards included 23 blue ribbons 19 red ribbons and several five and seven year leadership and membership certificates.
