U C W May Meeting Report
The May meeting of the UCW was held at Mrs. Norman Argue's home on May 1 at 8 p.m. Ten members and one visitor attended. Minutes note treasurer's report with $692 on hand and routine sympathy and get well cards. A $15 donation to Rolling Dale Workshop at Cardale was approved. Next meeting set for June 5 at 8 p.m. at Mrs. Walter Riddell's. lunch and social hour followed.

Rollingdale Workshop Annual Meeting Returns Officers
CARDALE The Rollingdale Workshop for Mentally Retarded held its annual meeting in Cardale with the executive back in office: President Roy Murray, Vice Rivers Doug Gill, Sec Treas Lil Gerrard. The program serves 18 to 21 clients with three instructors and a horticulturist. Clients work in the greenhouse growing bedding plants for sale and have winter projects including calf feeders ladders gates cedar picnic tables refinished furniture and crafts. Tea and Bazaar sale upcoming. Mr Murray thanked supporters as municipal and local help sustain the workshop.

Band Committee Meeting Plans New Instructors
The Band Committee of Hamiota held its monthly meeting May 1 with about twelve present. Miss Glenda Bretheur and Mr. Rick Scott two fourth year students from Brendon University School of Music have agreed to come as instructors next year. This will be a wonderful learning experience.

Curlers Hold Meeting in Hamiota Annual Curling Club
The Hamiota Men's Curling Club held its annual meeting on March 29 with 85 members present. Trophies were awarded to Al Mathisons rink and senior winners with Harold McLaren presenting prizes. A partial list shows 1974 75 receipts and expenses totaling 22387 60 and 18990 65 respectively leaving a balance of 3889 45. The section notes band updates with upcoming concerts and invitations to events, urging new band members for next year.
