Hamiota Village Council Adopts Policing Plan and Local Bills
Hamiota held its fourth Regular meeting on April 8 1980 with Mayor Harold McLaren presiding. The council reported March 1980 receipts 28734.17 and T same year R S M policing costs 25128.75 with 1981 contract 25680.00 plus province grant. Resolutions included pool committee appointments eight members and by law steps for 80 series including 7 80 budget by law 8 80 land sale 1 6458 to Routledges and third reading suspensions. A special meeting April 23 1980 discussed street drainage Terrazyme seal coat issues and water line replacement with PVC piping 4th Avenue to Birch Avenue.
