Country Greenhouse Opens In Hamiota On Cedar Ave
Karen Northam and Eric Belcher launch Country Greenhouse at 36 Cedar Ave beside Hi W ay Collision. The new shop offers bedding plants grown with organic fertilizer, ceramic and cement ornaments, patio blocks, and yard fixtures. Grand Opening Monday May 2 from 9 to 5 with coffee and donuts by the Economic Development Committee.

Students fundraise for Heart and Stroke and Read-A-Thon
Since February the fourth to sixth graders raised over 800 for charity. Four years of valentines replaced by Heart and Stroke donations totaling 194.44 delivered to Helen Wiltsey. In March 32 students took part in a Read-A-Thon with 625 in pledges. Prizes included read-a-thon pins lunch bags and stop watches for three pupils.
