Rolling River School Board Adopts New Grants and Tenure Concerns
The Rolling River School Division approved a provincial grant of 49,722 for upgrading and maintenance across its schools. The board criticized funding inequities and noted the portable tenure rights proclamation may hinder teacher mobility and hiring from within Manitoba. Bob Spenser presented the 1983 audit reporting total operating expenses of 7,627,604 with a fuller financial statement promised soon.
