Lions Update Kenton and Area activities and plans
The Kenton and Area Lions Club outlines winter projects including a Seniors Christmas Supper and planned Christmas event. January saw telephone book deliveries to Kenton and Lenore residents and donations to the M S Society Candle of Hope Lions Journey for Light Canine Vision Canada. A January 272 fundraiser raised 272 dollars for the Lions Telethon. Proceeds from bingo support the rink fund with sizable recent jackpot wins. Future efforts include a second annual community auction on April 23 and selling local license plates, inviting public input for upcoming projects.
