Band Boosters Hamiota Meet Plans Parades and Tours
The Band Boosters of Hamiota met March 12 with twelve attending. Mrs. Val Doupe chaired in Mrs. Lorna Robertson’s absence. Minutes were read and adopted. Parade dates were discussed for June with plans to attend Rapid City Fair on June 23 and Elphin stone’s 100th birthday on June 30.

The Senior Happy Gang held a St. Patrick's Day meeting in Hamiota on March 14 with nine tables of cards. Don Pollock and his three pupils performed on violins for guests from Shoal Lake and Minnedosa, Garnet Knight displaying trophies, followed by lunch and social time.
