Birdtail River SD No 38 Regular Board Meeting Minutes
The Birdtail River School Division No 38 held a regular board session on March 12 1987 at 3 00 p m in Crandall with Trustees Chappell McKay Harvey Hogg Murray Bearm Bridge Simard Cole and administrators Nicholls McDonald Budzinski Hudson Genung present Apologies were Tolton Huberdeau Correspondence included appraisals planning subdivision and teacher associations The board approved the February 26 1987 minutes the financial report and transportation report It hired Janice Gray as Teacher Aide at Hamiota Elementary and Karen Argue as half time Teacher Assistant at Miniota The board authorized speaking engagements for a department of Education seminar and approved payments to trustees and vendors It accepted a capital procurement for a 1987 Chev Cavalier and approved various school renovations and budget figures The meeting adjourned at 9 35 p m with a notice of motion from Trustee Cole to reconsider a prior reinstatement and suspension decision.

Elmer Woods of Coquitlam BC and Murray Riddell of Winnipeg visited the Stewart Riddells and attended Bill Woods and 60th anniversary celebrations at Hamiota on March 14.
