Birdtail River SD Board Meets In Crandall March 8 1984
The Birdtail River School Division No 38 held a regular session March 8 1984 at Crandall Division Office. Trustees and administration present approved tuition agreement revisions, field trip to North Western Ontario, five Manitoba Career Start positions, staff pay adjustments, resignations, custodial supply tenders, February 1984 financials, trustee accounts, a two year leave for Karen Olsen-Hille, and the 1984 budget with a special levy. The addendum notes Birtle Collegiate Safe Grad planning with board support. The Rolling River division also reports a 11.1 percent two year salary rise and a 3.2 mill levy increase to offset provincial revenue shortfalls. The boards adjourned for March 22 1984.
