Budget Update at Birdtail River School Division 1996-97

Lions telethon boosts local aid with pledges and events
Lions clubs in Hamiota and Rolling Dale Workshop report strong support from residents. March 3 telethon collected 55 pledges totaling 1385 dollars, part of a broader drive that raised 66000 dollars overall. Final Journey for Light figures show 1100 km raised 40744.48 dollars plus 6500 dollars from a sled raffle.
