Evaluations covered Montcalm and a Winnipeg Four Mile Road site near Brady Landfill, using environmental, technical, socioeconomic, and public policy criteria. Both sites were deemed acceptable with minimal risk, and Winnipeg's proactive environmental stance was noted as a major contribution to public understanding while remaining a key beneficiary as the project advances.
